Developed by beekeeper Laurence Cutts, the beetle blaster is a disposible beetle trap.  Fill the trap about half way with mineral or vegetable oil and let it hang between the frames. As the bees chase the beetles they hide in the trap and can not exit. Once the trap is full remove it and throw it away. Be careful and avoid spilling oil in hive.
