Terms and Conditions - Bee Well Honey

SHIPPING CHARGES – Customers are responsible for all shipping costs unless otherwise stated or agreed upon. Next day, 2 day and 3 day air shipments are available at an additional cost. Shipping cost is figured by dimensional weight, call 864-898-5122 for freight quote.

WEB ORDERS – Web orders placed after 4PM ET are processed the following business day. Web orders placed from Friday 4PM ET – Monday 8AM ET will not processed until Monday at 9AM ET.

SHIPPING ESTIMATES – Although we try to be accurate with shipping charges, some circumstances can affect the final cost. If the cost to ship your order is higher than what you were quoted during checkout, we will contact you before we proceed with shipping.

CONVENIENT WAYS TO PAY – Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, Check with Order, or Stripe (online orders).

OVERPAYMENTS – Overpayments may be refunded or credited to your account

SALES, FREIGHT & WARRANTY INFORMATION


WARRANTY – Bee Well Honey Farm warrants its equipment to be free of defects in material and work­man­ship. If within 30 days of purchase you feel an item to be defective, please return the merchandise along with your sales receipt and Bee Well Honey Farm will refund the purchase price along with all transportation charges. Warranty does not cover damage to equipment arising from alteration, abuse or use of product for other than its intended purpose.

DAMAGED FREIGHT – All mer­chan­dise is shipped “F.O.B. Shipping Point”. This is a legal term that means all merchandise becomes your property as soon as we give it to the freight carrier. The freight carrier is responsible for complete and safe delivery of your merchandise. It is your responsibility to inspect the merchandise when it is delivered. If the freight carrier fails to deliver your merchandise in good condition, it is your responsibility to contact us so that we can file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

SPECIAL ORDERS – Special orders may require a deposit. Please call 864-898-5122 for more information.

BEE SALES PICK UP IN STORE – 

You must select a pickup date from the drop-down menu when ordering.

Packages are 3lb + or – average weight, with a marked, young, mated, hygienic Italian queen.  Nucs are 5 frames of drawn comb, containing at least 3 frames of brood with a laying queen.

Occasionally dates will be changed due to unforeseen weather conditions.   If this occurs we will contact you via email or phone.

We are not responsible for information that is typed incorrectly online please make sure all your contact information is correct & current.  If you change something please let us know.  This is critical in the case of bad weather conditions!

Once your order is finalized (paid for) there is a $10 fee per package (nuc) if you change dates or cancel.   You may add to your order at no charge.

We do not contact you to remind you of your pick up once you place your order please put it down on a calendar/phone.

Bee sales are “As is” they are alive when you receive them.  Once you have picked them up they are your responsibility.   Sorry, but we cannot guarantee your success in keeping bees.

Bees must be picked up between the hours of 8:00am – 11:00am, on the pickup day.  Failure to pick up your bees results in forfeiture, no refunds will be given.

 

TERMS OF SALE SHIPPED BEE PACKAGES:

Packages are + or - 3lb average weight, with a marked, young, mated, hygienic Italian queen.  There will be dead bees in the package, this is normal. 

Changes to orders & cancellations (before 2/1/2020) will be charged a $10.00 fee per package.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER 2/1/2020.

In rare circumstances, dates will be changed due to unforeseen weather conditions.   If this occurs, we will contact you via email or phone. Please make sure the information you give us is the best way to contact you!

We are not responsible for information that is typed incorrectly online. Please make sure all your contact information is correct & current.  If your information changes please let us know.  This is critical for the post office to contact you for pick up & if dates change due to adverse weather conditions.

Bees shipped via USPS will be Hold For Pick Up only, at your local Post Office. 

For either delivery method please check your bees before accepting the package and do not accept them if they are in bad condition more than 1” of dead bees on the bottom.

Bees will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail or if you choose UPS Next Day Air.    In the event that your package arrives damaged or with more than 1” of dead bees on the bottom or if the queen is dead – then you, the purchaser should file a claim online with the USPS here:

It is the customer’s responsibility to file the claim with the USPS.  The payment will come from the USPS and be sent directly to the customer.  The claim process will require:

  1. Photo of the damaged package
  2. Photo of the shipping label
  3. Proof of value (your receipt from your bee order)
  4. Proof of insurance (found on the shipping label)

OTHER TERMS

PICK-UP ORDERS – A call before you arrive will help us serve you in the fastest manner possible. In most cases, we can have the order ready for you to pick up.

ORDER DISCREPANCIES – Check all orders immediately upon receipt and contact us within 10 days on any discrepancies.

RETURNED MERCHANDISE – Please call if you need to return an item. We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Call for Return Authorization.
  • Item must be in good condition.
  • Item must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • Original receipt is required.
  • In most cases a restocking fee of 20% will be charged. We cannot accept returns on hazardous materials.

REPLACING MERCHANDISE – When a situation occurs where Bee Well Honey Farm is shipping another product to you as a replacement for the damaged or incorrect product, there will be an additional charge for the new product sent and a credit applied at the time of the return of the incorrect product.

PRICES – Bee Well Honey Farm will invoice all orders on the basis of prices which are in effect at the time of shipment. We reserve the right to change catalog prices if we deem it necessary. Please feel free to confirm prices at any time. Bee Well Honey Farm is not responsible for typographical errors.

LIABILITY – Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for any item. We make no warranty or representation, express or implied except all products conform to the description provided by the manufactur­er on sales literature or product labels.

PRODUCT SUITABILITY – Due to many state and local codes and regulations regarding sales, con­struc­tion, installation and use of products for certain purposes, we cannot guarantee compliance in every situation. We attempt to assure that all products comply with state and local codes and regulations, so before you purchase and use a product please review both the product application and local codes and regulations. Be sure that the product, its installation and its use will comply with those codes and regulations.

STATE SALES TAX – When applicable, we are required to collect sales tax by law. Exemptions for sales tax will be allowed if you have either a signed Certificate of Resale or an Exemption Certificate. The tax forms vary by state, please call for details. Law requires that we have these certificates on file before any tax exemption can be allowed.

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS – We are closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanks­giv­ing Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

CREDIT CARDS – Bee Well Honey Farm reserves the right to pre-authorize credit and/or debit cards. No money leaves your account until the purchase clears but the hold is active until the actual transaction is settled. When there’s a hold on your account, it lowers your available balance. Bee Well Honey Farm is not responsible for overdraft fees resulting from the pre-authorization of your card.

 

REFUNDS

Returned Merchandise – Please follow all instructions below when returning merchandise:

  1. The customer is responsible to pay shipping costs on all returned items.
  2. Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  3. Items must be in “like new” condition.
    1. Items not in “like new” condition will be subject to a restocking fee of 30% or more depending on the state of the item returned.
    2. A copy of your original invoice is required.
      1. If you are unable to supply a copy of your invoice, please call and we may be able to get you a new copy.
      2. Bee Well Honey Farm is not responsible for items being returned to us which are lost or damaged. Please keep a copy of your tracking information, and it is recommended that you include shipping insurance when returning items to us.

Exchanges-   Please follow all instructions when sending back an item for exchange:

  1. The customer will be responsible for paying return shipping costs on all returned products as well as the shipping on any new item sent in exchange.
  2. The customer is responsible to pay any cost differences for products exchanged.
  3. Exchanges must be made in within 30 days of receipt.
  4. Items must be in “like new” condition.
    1. Items not in “like new” condition will be subject to a restocking fee of 30% or more depending on the state of the item returned. This may affect any additional balance due on the item you would like to receive in exchange.
    2. A copy of your original invoice is required.
      1. If you are unable to supply your invoice, please call and we may be able to get you a new copy.
      2. We are unable to take any exchanges on items purchased directly through Amazon.com or any other 3rd
      3. Bee Well Honey Farm is not responsible for items being returned to us which are lost or damaged. Please keep a copy of your tracking information, and it is recommended that you include shipping insurance when returning items to us.

 

Replacing Damaged or Wrong Merchandise – If items arrive damaged or the wrong merchandise was sent, please contact us so we can resolve the issue.

When a situation occurs where Bee Well Honey Farm is shipping another product to you as replacement for damaged or incorrect product and we request the damaged or incorrect item be returned, Bee Well Honey Farm will include a return call tag shipping label, inside the replacement package, that will expire 30 days after it is issued. The full price of any items not returned within 30 days of the receipt of your replacement order will be charged to your credit card that was used on your original purchase or billed to your Bee Well Honey Farm account. These charges will not be refunded until we receive your return.
